Woman dies week after horror Warrego Hwy crash

A WOMAN has died after a two-vehicle traffic crash that occurred on January 15 in the Hatton Vale area.

About 7.40pm, a ute and a car collided at the intersection of the Warrego Hwy and Shaw Rd.

The female driver of the car, aged 20 and the female front seat passenger aged 34 were airlifted to Brisbane with the passenger listed as being in a critical condition.

The 34-year-old woman died in hospital overnight.

The rear seat female passenger sustained minor injuries.

The 52-year-old male passenger of the utility was transported to hospital. The 48-year-old female driver was not injured.

The Forensic Crash Unit continue to investigate.
