Woman injured after being run over by husband

A WOMAN has been airlifted to hospital suffering multiple injuries after her husband accidentally backed his ute over her.

The women aged in her late 60s suffered multiple suspected injuries to her upper body following the incident this morning, east of Warwick.

Her husband accidentally reversed over her as he was backing their utility vehicle out of a shed.

The Toowoomba-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter flew to the rural property just after 8am.

The woman was treated by paramedics and LifeFlight's critical care doctor being she was airlifted in a stable condition to Toowoomba Hospital.
