Woman receives knife wounds in alleged assault

A 55-year-old woman received lacerations to her arms in an alleged knife attack by another woman in Caboolture overnight. 

Police were called to a Rogers Cres about 9.30pm. 

On arrival officers negotiated with a woman who was allegedly armed with a knife, ordering her to drop the weapon. 

Detectives charged a 29-year-old Caboolture woman with assault occasioning bodily harm whilst armed. 

She id due to appear in Caboolture Magistrates Court today, March 15.
