Woody Point row between women ends in stabbing charge

POLICE have charged a 37-year-old woman with attempted murder after a stabbing at Woody Point on Tuesday night.

It will be alleged around 6pm two women were involved in an altercation at a Samuel Street residence where a women was stabbed with a knife.

The 36-year-old woman fled the scene and attended Redcliffe Police Station to report the incident, before being taken  to Redcliffe Hospital.

The 37-year-old Woody Point woman is expected to appear in Redcliffe Magistrates Court on Wednesday morning.
