Yahoo7 reporter found guilty of contempt over mistrial

A SYDNEY journalist has been found guilty of contempt of court after her lack of experience led her to cause a mistrial. 

AAP reports Krystal Johnson did not get her story check by busy subeditors at Yahoo7, before publishing a story about Mataio Aleluia who was convicted of murder on Thursday. 

Johnson's story led to Aleluia's first trial being called off because she published information that had not been said in court and was not revealed to the jury.
