Yellow Day will be a tribute to Allison

THE family and friends of Allison Baden-Clay have created Wear Yellow Day for Allison and Strive to be Kind so she will always be remembered.

Allison impacted on the lives of all those who knew her because of her generous nature and kind soul, they said.

Next Friday, August 1, everyone is encouraged to wear yellow and to live with compassion and love for one another, whether it be providing essential items to someone in need, doing a chore for an elderly person or something as simple as holding open the door for someone.

If people don't have anything yellow to wear, you can wear something special you haven't worn for awhile or have never worn - maybe a new piece of jewellery, new perfume or outfit.

Mt Ommaney Shopping Centre retailers have committed to the cause by pledging to decorate their display windows in yellow.

Schools are also welcome to participate in Yellow Day.

Yellow ribbons will be available from Realway Property Consultants Yamanto and the information desk at Mt Ommaney Shopping Centre and for a gold coin donation.

To help Allison's three young daughters with education and medical expenses, tax deductible donations can be made to the Late Allison Baden-Clay Children's Trust c/- National Australia Bank BSB: 084-737 Account 94-308-4078 (Australian Charity Number 163 917 502).
