THREE Brisbane Lions players committed their future to the club yesterday, while it is the end of the road for three other AFL stars.
Vice-captain Jed Adcock and youngsters Claye Beams and Josh Green have all signed extended deals for the Lions.
Adcock, 26, has signed a three-year deal, while Beams, 20, and Green, 19, have both agreed to two-year extensions.
At the other end of the spectrum Collingwood's Chris Tarrant will call it quits, while former housemates Lindsay Gilbee and Ryan Hargrave will end their AFL careers after both playing more than 200 games for the Western Bulldogs.
Jed Adcock said he was delighted with the new deal, adding: "The club's been very good to me and my family over the last nine years and I've thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it."
Tarrant, a five-time Collingwood leading goal kicker and All-Australian in 2003, has to date played 263 matches and kicked 366 goals.
Gilbee, from Victoria and Hargrave from Perth, were drafted together in 1999, lived together in their early 20s, played 200 games together in the Bulldogs' defence, and now they will retire together.
