ZAC Efron wants to be a park ranger.

The 'Charlie St. Cloud' actor - who has been dating his 'High School Musical' co-star Vanessa Hudgens since 2005 - admits he would like a job that kept him outside if he ever decided to turn his back on his movie career.

Asked what he would do if he wasn't an actor, he said: "I imagine I'd probably go and do something in the outdoors, the wilderness. I had a friend who was a park ranger in Yosemite and that seemed like an awesome job, so something in the outdoors."

Zac also spoke out to praise his "beautiful and super funny" 'Charlie St. Cloud' co-star Amanda Seyfried, admitting she made working on the supernatural drama much easier.

He explained to website Sugarscape: "My favourite thing about working with Amanda was her fearlessness. This was the first drama for both of us so it was good to have someone else experiencing it for the first time, we could always talk to each other and figure it out together.

"Not to mention she is beautiful, super funny and just a good person to have around."
